Deans Civil Engineering are delighted to announce the appointment of Aaron Smith as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. Aaron will attend the part time Quantity Surveying Bsc (Hons) at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Deans Civil Engineering have been awarded the Investors in People and Investors in Young People accreditation which involved implementing and demonstrating a system designed to lead, support and manage people for sustainable results.
Deans will are hosting an event to celebrate the official opening of their head office on Friday 24th April with an afternoon reception of drinks and canapés with friends, family, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Deans have been appointed to carry out the groundworks package of the new National Performance Centre for Sport based at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Works include foundations, floor slabs and drainage along with elements of the concrete superstructure and the external works for the new entrances and car parking areas.
A team from Deans Civil Engineering, including Managing Director, Steven Deans completed the 26 mile Kilt Walk from Hampden Park to Balloch, Loch Lomond, for a second year running. They were accompanied by Clients and friends from the longstanding relationship with Bowmer & Kirkland in order to raise money on behalf of CHAS.

Deans have been appointed to carry out the groundworks for Phase 2 of the new James Gillespie's Campus in Edinburgh involving the construction of a new sport and performance building as well as extensive external works inclusive of sports pitches.
Deans have been appointed to carry out the groundworks for Phase 3 of the Rising Rolls School Extension project lead by the City of Edinburgh Council to increase capacity at 2 schools in the area.
